A 14-Week Integrated Grief Support Program Bridge Back to Life™ is a structured, compassionate program designed to support grief recovery in a way that honors the whole person — body, heart, and meaning.
The program includes a set number of individual sessions, used flexibly across three areas of support. While each step can be accessed individually, most people choose the full program because each phase supports the next.
Nutrition support begins first to establish a stable foundation. Emotional Grief Recovery through the Grief Recovery Method® begins once foundational support is established and does not require nutrition work to be “finished.” Meaning-centered or integration sessions occur toward the end of the process or are used based on individual preference.
The structure is clear. The pacing is humane. The path is guided – not rushed.

Reduced Concentration |
Grievers often report a feeling of preoccupation with emotions that impacts their ability to concentrate. A common example of this is walking into a room to grab something, only to completely forget why they came to the room in the first place. |

A Sense of Numbness |
One of the first reactions that people commonly have to loss is a feeling of numbness, either physical or emotional. This can often be mislabeled as denial. |

Disrupted Sleeping Patterns |
Many grievers express disruption in their sleeping patterns—either sleeping too much or not at all. |

Changed Eating Habits |
Similarly to sleeping habits, many people experience a change in appetite after loss. This can manifest as eating nonstop or having no appetite at all. |

Roller Coaster of Emotional Energy |
After loss, grievers often experience a wide and volatile range of emotions. Because of these extreme highs and lows, grievers are often left physically and emotionally drained. |
