My name is Gwen Russo and I am a Trainer at the Grief Recovery Institute. I am also the CEO and founder of Hopeful Heart Solutions, Ltd Grief and Wellness Services. While I may know some of you from my trainings, for those who I haven’t yet had the pleasure it’s so nice to meet you! You know, I remember walking into my GRM training in Princeton, NJ. I was nervous, curious and excited to be there and had NO idea what to expect. A month or so prior, I had walked away from a 17-year career as a speech pathologist to seek out a new career path. I had signed up online and unlike most people who find their way to a GRM Certification Training, I had never even gone through the Method. Needless to say, by the end of Day 2 I was hooked and knew I now had something that the world desperately needed. Heck, I needed it. At the end of Day 4, I packed my stuff and headed home from NJ to NY. I was overwhelmed with emotion and inspiration. I got home, looked at my binder and books and thought…what now?

It was over the next 6 months that I got to work. There were no onboarding calls then. All I had was my entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to transform this passion into a thriving business. You may be thinking, “Business? But GRM is such heart centered work! I just want to help people. Is this really something I can do and make a living?” Absolutely, unequivocally, YES. Like I did, you will likely need some direction, support, encouragement, a shoulder to lean on, a sounding board and a mentor. See, I knew I would have to invest in myself and my business if I really wanted to be successful. Now, it has become a passion of mine to help other Specialists achieve their dreams and reach their goals. I can help you with the process but you need to bring an open mind, your big beautiful heart, and a willingness to never give up.
